Reunion Details

The ST. JOHN OF THE CROSS CLASS OF ‘69 will be celebrating our 54th reunion on Friday, October 13th in conjunction with the LTHS 50th reunion that same weekend. We are very excited about reconnecting with each of you to share memories of this special place and time. We are hopeful too to invite a couple of former teachers. 

Details are being sent via email, posted here as well as on the LTHS reunion page Lyons Township HS Class of ’73 50thReunion (2023). Note - even if you are a non-LTHS alum, you are invited to the LTHS events too. Just let us know, and we will to add you to that list too.

For the reunion, we will be gathering at the St. John of the Cross Parish Center. We are planning a school tour followed by an informal lunch (pizza & salad & pastries) and class photo. For those able to attend, there is a 9:00 a.m. mass. See StJohnoftheCross.org for mass information.

• 06/22/23: 18% (21) of our graduating class (127) have responded that they are or may be coming to the reunion! We even have a confirmation from one of our teachers - Ms. Zita Wheeler!

• 06/15/23: Reunion agenda confirmed! Please make sure to complete the form on the home page even if you are not coming. We are looking to share classmate contact information and need yours and your permission to share exactly what you want shared! If you are coming, tell us how many are attending and any dietary restrictions.

• 05/25/23: ZITA WHEELER is planning to be at our reunion on October 13th! Mary Pancoast Dunnam spoke with Zita (it was hard not to address her as "Miss Wheeler") Thursday 05/25/23, and she asked me to be sure to share how enthusiastic she is about attending and reconnecting with as many of our Class of '69 as possible. Let this be another excellent reason to plan to be at the reunion.

The Limited Edition St John of the Cross Class of '69 Reunion postcard! 😁 You should have already received the very informative email from Mary Pancoast Dunnam in your inbox (if we have your contact info!). Please complete the questionnaire on the home page. This will allow us to make sure we have all of your correct contact information and start to give us an indication regarding your participation. We want to make sure that we have enough seating, pizza and salad, and, of course, enough of the delicious baked goods from Kirshbaum's Bakery at the reunion.
